Quote for the Week!

So i've decided that along with what happens in our life i will also add a few quotes here and there once a week. This could be probably the one that has had the biggest impression on me. It was from General Conference April 2012.

Ideal Date!

Spending time with my husband is my favorite thing to do. Being home and cuddling or simply doing nothing is just as fun as going somewher, mostly because I'm with him. But if i get to choose my #1 ideal date with him I would have to say having a fire up the canyon. I love having fires, tinfoil dinners, the mountains, the smell of the trees after it rains and the sound of the river while you lay on a blanket. I could not think of anything more relaxing, fun, and enjoyable to do especially if i get to do it with Tyler. This past weekend we went up to AF Canyon and enjoyed a wonderful date, this is a must do again! Besides the Temple and our home, this is my favorite place to be with my husband. Summer is going to be so much fun.

Easter Weekend!

Tyler and I had such a wonderful weekend! It's been so good being able to spend time together and just relax. Call us crazy or weird but we love going to the store buying bubble gum and having a "who can blow the biggest bubble" contest. Of course i win, but i'll let you be the judge of that. Friday night we got some snack a movie "The zookeeper" and cuddle for the rest of the night. Here is the difference between my snack and tyler's snack: Cat=Sour straws candy and Tyler = G2 or Broccoli with a peanut butter dip. I truly admire just how healthy and disciplined he is when it comes to eating. It helps me a lot when i want to just say no and eat a good and healthy meal.
Saturday we had the opportunity to go to the temple with Tyler's parents and it was amazing! And coming out of the temple was breathtaking with a combination of the weather, the view, and the gardens. Temple grounds really is something i love, and we are so grateful to be able to have a temple so close to us. After the temple we had our Bubble Gum contest and finished our day with a nice movie "The Ten Commandments". Sunday was great, filled with the spirit of Easter and enjoying our nursery kids. We got a calling at our ward in the nursery, so we get the 18 months to 2 years old kids. We are so excited they are full of energy, laughter, and a few tears here and there but so much fun. Sunday we made easter cards for our neighbors and got them some tasty creamies. My lovely husband then made us dinner which was so delicious like always and we went for a nice walk. The day was so lovely and the flowers on the trees looked beautiful! Overall our weekend was amazing and like always my husband is the best part of it... He spoils me so much and i am so grateful for all his love and all the wonderful things he does for me.

Trip to the grocery store!

No matter how many times I went grocery shopping before i got married or after, I still hate it. My grocery shopping skills are awful. I go in and hope to be out in less than 10 minutes, which is always a problem since i never take the time to look at the deals, or best prices. So this is why in our home we have established that Tyler will be doing all the grocery shopping. At times I’ll go with him but when i can’t he always has it cover. The other day we needed to go grocery shopping, but I was at work, and had the car so he wasn’t able to run to the store, or so I thought. Later at night as I pulled into our apartment, I saw him on his motorcycle with a box in front of him. For a second I thought he had picked up a pizza for us to eat. But as he walked closer I realized it was a box eggs. So then he said I went to the store to pick up a few things, I laughed a little and we walked inside.
The best part was yet to come when he starts to pull out of his back pack a gallon of milk, apples, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, spaghetti sauce, other vegetables and fruits he had another small backpack for other goods. I knew he’s get the job done, but I never thought he’d use all resources. I laughed so hard because I could just picture him thinking of ways he bring the groceries home, and then stashing it all in his backpack and pockets. This had to be one of the funniest things he’s ever done. I love my husband so much… things like these amaze me every day, he is so wonderful. What would I do without him! Probably starve.
